Admission Pre-requisites
BSN Generic 04 Years Degree Program
- F.Sc./H.S.C with pre-Medical Minimum 50% marks
- Age limit: 17 to 25 years
- KMU-CAT and Interview
Post RN B.ScN 02 Years Degree Program
- Matric with Science
- General Nursing Diploma (valid PNC License)
- One year Post-RN specialization/midwifery (valid PNC License)
- One year RN experience
Lady Health Visitor (LHV) 02 Years Diploma Program
- Matric with Science (More than 45% Marks)
- Age limit: 17 to 25 years
- Test and Interview
Community Midwifery (CMW) 02 Years Diploma Program
- Matric with Science (More than 45% Marks)
- Age limit: 17 to 25 years
- Test and Interview
Fee Structure
i. USCN is a Gender unbiased self-finance institute
ii. Exemption of fee for brilliant/economically-challenged students, through scholarship (10% with HERA Policy)

Leave
Annual leave, sick leave will be admissible according to the Pakistan Nursing Council & Khyber Medical University rule that is 30 days annual leave, 7 days of sick leave.
Attendance
Attendance per semester is required not less than 85%, in case of short attendance the student will not
be allowed to attend midterm as well as final term KMU exam.
Exam/Evaluation
In each subject 30% marks will be internally awarded which contains 20% midterm marks and 10% through CATS, quizzes, assignments, presentations etc. The remaining 70% marks will be awarded by the University final term exam through MCQs.
Uniform/Dress Code
For Boys
Paint & coat color is navy blue with white shirt, college tie, black shoes and college card. For clinical, community visits, and in skill labs/scince lab white coat/overall is required.
For Girls
White Shalwar Qameez with any color of scarf and black shoes are required. For clinical,
community visits, and in skill labs/scince lab white coat/overall is required.
